INSPIRING CHANGE

I have over three decades local, regional, national, as well as global politics and business leadership. I was born in Lagos, Nigeria and immigrated to the United States in 1989. I have lived in the City of Federal Way for over three decades and know this community very well. My three children were born at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, and I have worked closely with the school district and the larger community, while advocating for change, and holding elected and other officials accountable in the process.

My work has always been geared towards ensuring that residents actively participate in local politics. It is the only way to ensure accountability by elected officials. Investing in community organizations, businesses, and projects will help strengthen the local economy and improve the quality of life of the residents of the City of Federal Way.

I have also worked across divergent sectors to ensure we effectively address complex challenges that impact families and the larger community. We must invest in the future of Federal Way in a way that ensures our children have access to quality education, healthcare and opportunities that are crucial for the long-term success of our community.

We need new leadership at City Hall. Leadership that is visionary, innovative and committed to delivering on a consistent basis for our people. That is what I will provide from DAY ONE, if elected Mayor!
